Sermon Video

Down here, a lot of us grew up believing that if you had a good family, went to church, prayed before meals, and treated people right — you were standing on solid ground.

But Jesus tells us in Matthew 7:24–27 that storms are coming — and when they hit, only one kind of house will stand.

Not the house built on good traditions.

Not the house built on love and good intentions.

Only the house built on obedience to His Word.

You can sit in church every Sunday, say all the right things, and still build your life on sand without even realizing it.

Because it’s not about looking spiritual. It’s about being surrendered.

Storms don’t create the cracks in our foundation — they just reveal where we were weak all along.

Financial struggles, marriage tension, rebellious kids — they show whether we built on Christ or just on habits and hopes.

The good news?

It’s never too late to start building right.

Strong families aren’t built overnight. They’re built one small act of obedience at a time — one prayer, one hard conversation, one moment of trust after another.

Jesus doesn’t just save you — He rebuilds you.

He doesn’t bless perfect homes — He blesses surrendered ones.

The question isn’t: Are you in church?

The question is: Is Christ the foundation of your home?

It’s time to start building what will last.
